Specializing in serving the marine community in the "Venice
of the Americas" since 1984, I have had the unique experience of thousands
of on board equipment evaluations, function tests and certifications as
well as countless agent cylinder hydrostatic tests, halon recovery, valve
rebuilding and troubleshooting as well as complete installations of CO2,
Halon, the new FM-200 and FE-241 systems.
The earth gets smaller!
While having a thorough working knowledge of the rules
and statutes of the American Boat and Yacht Council, National Fire Protection Association
and USCG is essential to properly servicing U.S. flagged vessels, the growing
complexity and international aspect of the marine industry requires the
additional study of the requirements specific to the Megayacht Code, MCA,
Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), IMO, ABS, STCW, as well as environmental
regulations that affect the fire protection industry at large. One has to
do a lot of homework and truly have a passion for the subject matter to
become a reliable source for the proper maintenance and documentation each
vessel may require.
The liabilities get larger!
The most critical service you may be responsible for ordering
in the course of maintaining a vessel is the annual maintenance examination
of the on board fire suppression systems and portable fire extinguishers.
Knowing what to order is a job for a specialist familiar with marine applications.
The certification process must begin with a complete evaluation from an
industry professional with your best interest in mind. This is the only
way for the untrained person to intelligently order these services. Let
an expert do it for you. I maintain that untrained persons should not be
ordering these services! The liabilities associated from ordering improper
service, intentional or not, necessitate proper documents from a marine
expert in the fire equipment industry.
My ultimate goal is the PROPER maintenance of your equipment to assure the
highest level of safety for the benefit of the entire marine community.

my contact information available to my friends and customers (who literally
span the globe) from here in the South Florida area 24 hours a day, 7 days
